Respectfully: The 6 taught me this before any maester did. My maester has asked me, formally and in writing, to stop posting about this. Consider that.

The matter at hand is the pattern across the record covers, which I have laid out on a map of the North.

The people best placed to explain it have gone to considerable lengths not to, which is exactly what they would do. A banner that swears loyalty and does not answer the rally is, and I say this with respect, Thank Me Later, which I have thought about every day since the first winter I heard it. The owl knows.
