Before anyone calls this a miracle, count the sacks, mend the bridge, inspect the hinges; I read a traveler’s tale about a feast turning sour and checked every gate at my keep before bed.
Is a clever hero wiser to stay and mend the danger, or leave? I lean toward leaving, since old road stories know grand intentions rarely repair a hinge. Not yet.
