I have taken more seats than I can count and lost most of them, and the lesson was always the same.
A raid turned away at your own gate is a different skill from a rally landed on somebody else's, and only one of them keeps your stores.
Twelve seats at once is the top of what anyone holds, and twelve seats is twelve windows somebody else is planning around.
Defence is the half nobody counts and the half that keeps you.
