The most common thing I hear from lords past their first year is that there is nothing left.
Nothing in the late game pays anything the store sells. That is why the targets in it can be stated plainly.
If you have finished the book, the thing you have not finished is the tree. Go and look at what your weakest discipline is still missing.
Finished the book is not finished the game.
