Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.
Strip the songs away and it comes to this: why the Wall was really built, and against what. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.
I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.
Say I am wrong, if you think so. Somebody usually does.
