Nobody has ever explained why the seasons here are broken

Nobody wants to hear this one. Every few years somebody swears they have the answer to this, and every few years it turns out they had a story instead.

The question, put plainly: why the seasons here are broken. I have changed my mind on this twice, which is more than most will admit to.

I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.

Prove me wrong. Please. I would enjoy it.
