The 6 taught me this before any maester did. I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is the business with the ghostwriters, which everyone hurries past.

Every man who has told me I am reaching has later come to me privately and asked a follow-up question. Every one. I keep a list of those too. A rival who copies your build order exactly is the exact same energy as what the man was plainly describing in Nonstop. Nobody in this hall is ready for that conversation.
