Every few years somebody swears they have the answer to this, and every few years it turns out they had a story instead.

What I am actually asking is what Rhaegar was doing at the Tower of Joy. I think we have been asking the wrong question for a hundred years.

The part nobody accounts for is time. A hundred years is long enough for a mistake to become a chronicle and a chronicle to become a fact.

It matters less than the harvest, and I will still be arguing about it at midwinter.
