Most lords read a battle report the way they read bad news — once, fast, and to be done with it.
If you cannot say in one sentence why you lost, you have not finished reading.
One report is an event. Three reports against the same lord are a pattern, and patterns are winnable.
Lose once, learn once. That is a fair trade in here.
