Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.
What I am actually asking is how the Long Night ended the first time. I have changed my mind on this twice, which is more than most will admit to.
Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.
It matters less than the harvest, and I will still be arguing about it at midwinter.
