This is written down, though few read it. This will not help anybody take a seat, and I am posting it anyway. Winter nights are long and the board is quiet.

The question, put plainly: what the Faceless Men are really for. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.

I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.
