Somebody had to say it, and it may as well be me. My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.

What I am actually asking is what Rhaegar was doing at the Tower of Joy. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.

The part nobody accounts for is time. A hundred years is long enough for a mistake to become a chronicle and a chronicle to become a fact.
