There is a lesson here and it has whiskers. Several of you have asked, in private, and pretended not to in public. Here it is.

The matter at hand is the tribute Niko brought me, and what I am to do with it.

Allie Blu is Niko's twin and his opposite in every particular. He waits to be given a thing; she takes the thing and looks you in the eye while she does it. I have watched her open a latch with one paw and no shame whatever.

Niko would hold the line. Allie Blu would steal it.
