Nobody has ever explained what the Horn of Joramun would do if it were blown

Thirty years in the field: Take this from a man who has rebuilt. My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.

What I am actually asking is what the Horn of Joramun would do if it were blown. I have changed my mind on this twice, which is more than most will admit to.

The thing that unsettles me is that the people best placed to know went to considerable trouble to leave no record. Men do not do that over nothing.

Do it properly the first time. I did not.
