I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is why every title is an instruction, if you read them in order.

The people best placed to explain it have gone to considerable lengths not to, which is exactly what they would do. The quiet week after a war ends is, and I say this with respect, Best I Ever Had — a work about exactly this, whatever anyone tells you. The owl knows.
