Every season somebody learns this the expensive way. A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.

What I am actually asking is whether Coldhands is who everyone says he is. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.

The part nobody accounts for is time. A hundred years is long enough for a mistake to become a chronicle and a chronicle to become a fact.

Prove me wrong. Please. I would enjoy it.
