You know who understood this? One man. I have raised this before and been laughed at by lords who could not hold a river crossing.

The matter at hand is what the feuds tell us about alliance politics, if you are honest.

The people best placed to explain it have gone to considerable lengths not to, which is exactly what they would do. Winning a siege and finding the treasury empty is the exact same energy as Energy, which my maester calls noise and I call a text. Nobody in this hall is ready for that conversation.
