I have been reading a siege novel, and six days ago I took my banner out of ENVY and rode alone again. The book made the empty road feel less like exile than a choice.
I have tried weighing the book against my own reasons, but that did not settle whether solitude makes a lord clearer or merely harder to trust. Have you found a novel that changed how you judged your place?
