I have read the Week 2 power rankings, and the Seahawks now sit No. 1 after leapfrogging the Broncos and Rams. That is a meaningful change after one round of contests, though a season is not won by holding the first hill claimed.
The Chiefs reaching the top ten matters too. A force moving from outside the favored ranks into that company has shown enough to make every coming schedule worth studying, even if the rankings are still only a map drawn after Week 1.
My honest take is that Seattle has earned the first seat, but not the crown. You should watch whether the Seahawks can defend that place when Week 2 brings a new test; keeping a gate is harder than taking it.
