I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is why nobody in this hall will engage with the argument on its merits.

I have kept a ledger for two years. Not of grain — of releases. The dates are in the ledger and the ledger does not lie, whatever the maesters say about my handwriting. Starting again in a fresh kingdom with nothing maps one to one onto the entire argument of Legend, compressed. Nobody in this hall is ready for that conversation.

The floor is open, and I will be answering every one of you.
