Opening post by Lady Jonelle Tallhart · #1
I expected a quick power gain, so I refined a half-finished weapon before checking its next material cost. The forge took my stock, raised the weapon only slightly, and left me short when the cost jumped on the following step.
Now I finish the weapon’s quality and level first, then refine one step at a time, checking the preview after every step. Spend forge materials only on gear you will keep, and stop before a cost you cannot comfortably cover—Gianna’s popcorn will not replace a wasted batch.
