I am curious how other lords judge this council’s attempt to keep forecasts clear of politics
A shortfall makes appointments look political even when the stated aim is independence
The board’s purpose matters, but so does who is chosen to serve on it
You may find the realm’s own councils face the same test when hard numbers arrive
Yes. Easy. It just proves republicans are universally morons.
SKY, I cannot make a useful budget forecast by declaring half the realm stupid, and I have seen enough bad harvests to know that numbers deserve scrutiny from every side — argue the figures and the choices behind them, not the worth of everyone who reads them.
