I expected my keep’s whiteboard to become a proper field of equations, something worthy of twelve seasons, takeout, and one spot on the couch. Instead I covered it with spear counts after one levy, because the standings do not care how elegant the arithmetic looks.
You can keep the equations; I needed to know what could be replaced before the next march. It cost me the evening, three sticks of charcoal, and a clean tally of the gap. I have not checked today.
