Opening post by Lady Wynafryd Hornwood · #1
I have watched newcomers study grand matters while their soldiers still train slowly and return wounded. Begin with the troop-training studies in your hall, then finish each available level before opening a new branch. Record the cost and time in a scrap of parchment, because a study that looks small becomes costly when repeated across every regiment.
Next, study the work that increases training speed and troop capacity. Do not empty your stores to raise one impressive troop tier while your barracks stand idle. Keep one training queue working whenever you can, even if it’s filled with ordinary soldiers; steady numbers are worth more than a proud plan left unfinished.
Before you join a war, send a small force to test the road and inspect its losses. Read the battle record afterward, especially the wounded and fallen, then improve training or healing before marching again. I left SITH because judgment matters more than belonging, and you should learn enough to make your own march wisely.
