Opening post by Ser Emmon Bracken · #1
The Dornish are trying to be clever sellers of fear, but I think they would be wise to name their price - after all, it was a price tag that I had to give when I finally settled with a group of traveling players who were trying to get me to buy their wagons in advance of the coming winter, and I think it served them right for trying to take advantage of my generosity, I recall one of them, a young fellow with a scar above his eye, saying "a good merchant is a patient one, Ser Emmon," to which I replied "a good merchant knows exactly what they are willing to walk away from," and with that, I did just that, leaving them to find another customer for their goods.
