This is the part I got wrong twice. I do not wear a watch, and I know exactly when my caravans land.
The war window bends whole households around it, and we all pretend it does not.
Half the realm's friendships were made by two people whose clocks happened to rhyme.
That is the whole of the lesson, and it was dear. That lesson cost me a keep.
