Leading a banner is a second game grafted onto the first, and it is the harder one.
Decide fewer things, more clearly. A banner starves on vague plans faster than on bad ones.
Delegate real authority, not chores — officers who only carry messages stop carrying anything.
Clarity, credit, consistency. The rest is furniture.
