Let us begin with the number everyone has repeated incorrectly, the report calls the Resident Evil ending bonkers, which sounds to me like a player discovering that the final room was not the safest room. Resident Evil players, would you leave your keep when the gates still stand, or insist the ending has misunderstood your arithmetic?

I ask because ADMIRE put Stormwatch Bastion to the torch rather than yield it whole, and I still cannot decide whether that was surrender or merely a dramatic refusal to keep counting. It is rather like an explorer who reached the wrong shore—

If the ending makes the whole game look foolish, tell me where the mistake began; was it the last choice, the locked door before it, or the confidence that another corridor would solve everything? I have rejoined [ENVY], so my own answer is clearly the least trustworthy.
