My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.
The question, put plainly: whether Bran sees the past or changes it. I have changed my mind on this twice, which is more than most will admit to.
Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.
It matters less than the harvest, and I will still be arguing about it at midwinter.
