My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.
What I am actually asking is who Jon Snow's mother really was. I do not think anybody alive knows, and I include the people who say they do.
Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.
It matters less than the harvest, and I will still be arguing about it at midwinter.
