This is the part I got wrong twice. My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.

Strip the songs away and it comes to this: what the Faceless Men are really for. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.

The thing that unsettles me is that the people best placed to know went to considerable trouble to leave no record. Men do not do that over nothing.

I would rather you heard it here than in a war report.
