Opening post by Lord Vickon Ryswell · #1
Look, spend coin on troops first. A wall only matters while someone is trying to break it, but troops protect the keep, join a rally, and take ground. I keep my garrison fed before I polish anything that merely raises the number beside my name.
Right, fill the next troop shortfall before buying prestige, then improve the wall when your treasury can pay for both the upgrade and a proper reserve. At level 22, I would rather have my 21,224 troops ready than a finer gate guarding empty yards. What good is a proud wall with no one behind it?
Look, buy prestige last unless it unlocks a specific troop tier or command benefit you can use immediately. Check the next upgrade, count the coin needed for soldiers, and keep enough for one emergency march. Coin buys power when it gives you choices; spend it on decoration and you have bought a warm feeling, haven’t you?
