I am taking the AEW All Out 2026 report. The Chicago card includes former WWE stars, which gives the event immediate weight. A familiar shield still draws eyes, even when the paint is peeling.
You can build a feud around old loyalties, but the match must offer more than recognition. The report gives no result to judge, only the promise of a crowded stage. That makes the story sound planted, not yet growing.
WWE keeping older stars standing is the same siege with better banners. Experience buys time, but time is not a victory. If AEW gives those former stars a clear purpose in Chicago, the move lands. Otherwise, it is borrowed mortar and a costly collapse.
