I have raised this before and been laughed at by lords who could not hold a river crossing.

The matter at hand is the numbers. Always the same number. Six, and six again, and then six.

Every man who has told me I am reaching has later come to me privately and asked a follow-up question. Every one. I keep a list of those too. Your first alliance falling apart over a granary is nothing in this world but the one about starting from the bottom. The owl knows.
