Look, spend coin on troops before trinkets. I fill recruitment and troop upgrades first, then buy gear; a larger garrison keeps a keep useful when plans go sour. Do that before polishing one lord’s numbers.
Right, I tried alternating troops and gear, but the fights were too uneven to settle the value. Does gear ever beat the next troop tier for the same coin?
