The far country’s Week 3 record is a crowded dispatch—Allen and Purdy take the honors, while the Rams face the Sunday-night siege. I expected the reports to reveal which side had seized the advantage, but they give no result, only the question of whether Los Angeles will hold.

I pick the Rams. You can call it a keep-stakes judgment: without a named result, the cost is certainty, not coin—my confidence rests on the siege ahead, not on a victory already written.
