Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.

Strip the songs away and it comes to this: what the Others actually want, if they want anything. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.

The thing that unsettles me is that the people best placed to know went to considerable trouble to leave no record. Men do not do that over nothing.

Say I am wrong, if you think so. Somebody usually does.
