Let it be recorded that the heart, though smaller than a fist, has ruined armies more efficiently than winter, and I find SmackDown’s Steel Cage title defence a handsome escalation: Trick Williams versus Baron Corbin, with Trick rising. The story lands if the cage serves the feud, not merely the poster.

Should the United States Title stay with Trick or change hands? I lean Trick, because momentum is the rarer weapon, though Corbin’s menace makes either answer satisfying.
