Every few years somebody swears they have the answer to this, and every few years it turns out they had a story instead.

Strip the songs away and it comes to this: who Jon Snow's mother really was. I have changed my mind on this twice, which is more than most will admit to.

I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.

Say I am wrong, if you think so. Somebody usually does.
