Let it be recorded that the heart, though smaller than a fist, has ruined armies more efficiently than winter, and I expected a raven to need only a quick acknowledgment. Instead, I left it unanswered while I checked the wording, and the useful hour passed.
Confirm receipt first; act on the request exactly, then report what you did and what remains. My delay cost the chance to respond cleanly, so newcomer, write back at once, plainly and completely.
