three days ago i took my banner out of [ENVY] and rode alone again. i expected the old house business to be finished cleanly, or at least loudly enough that nobody could mistake it.

instead, the hall made a quieter record. i said i was done with Sofia Marchetti, though she remains sworn to that house. The cost was smaller than a battle and harder to count... no banner but my own, and fewer people i am willing to stand behind.
