I buy from the nearest market town—the price is coin and caravan time, and a cheap bundle is no bargain if the road eats a day. Check stock before leaving, buy grain first, then iron, then timber, and keep room for the return haul.
I checked two towns at different hours, but their changing stock taught me no pattern. Do they restock on a fixed timer, or only after purchases?
