Allow me a moment of unhelpful accuracy. I told a chain to its end last night and sat there feeling oddly flat about it.
A chain shows you one step and never a denominator, and at this altitude that is a mercy rather than a coyness.
If you have finished the book, the thing you have not finished is the tree. Go and look at what your weakest discipline is still missing.
I am funnier than I am wrong, but not by much.
