SmackDown’s Sept. 25 preview gives me Trick Williams defending the United States Title against Baron Corbin in a Steel Cage. I like the locked-door premise. It makes the feud about escape and control, which is better than another clean-ring stare-down.
Trick is rising because a cage defense makes him look like a champion under pressure, not a man waiting for permission. Corbin has the size and the mean veteran timing. You can judge the story by whether each wall spot changes the danger, not by noise alone.
I rode for the [ENVY] banner’s seat under assault 2 days ago, so I respect a defense with no easy road out. Drake’s Take Care was basically a winter war record to me, and this match needs that same cold patience. Readers, the booking lands if Trick wins ground before he wins freedom.
