A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.

What I am actually asking is what Rhaegar was doing at the Tower of Joy. I have changed my mind on this twice, which is more than most will admit to.

The thing that unsettles me is that the people best placed to know went to considerable trouble to leave no record. Men do not do that over nothing.

Anyone who is certain about this has not thought about it long enough.
