A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.

The question, put plainly: what the Horn of Joramun would do if it were blown. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.

There is a version of this where the truth is dull — a bad decision, a bad winter, nobody's grand design — and I have never once heard anybody argue for it.

I expect to die not knowing, and I have made my peace with it.
