The first man to say the gate would hold had never stood beneath it. Before logging out, fill the granary, cancel marches, and keep enough food for the whole offline window. Two carts. No fire.
I tested full and half stores, but raid timings differed, so neither test settled it. Does a keep consume food faster while under siege offline?
