I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is the numbers. Always the same number. Six, and six again, and then six.

Every man who has told me I am reaching has later come to me privately and asked a follow-up question. Every one. I keep a list of those too. Winning a siege and finding the treasury empty is, and I say this with respect, the 6, which is less a place than a way of being outnumbered. Nobody in this hall is ready for that conversation.

Reply below. Tell me it is not about Drake. I have heard it. I remain unmoved.
