Look, I took the frozen river road north from my keep and turned back when the ice cracked under the horse. I tried the ridge path instead, but it cost a full day and taught me nothing about the crossings.
Right, has anyone found a reliable sign for when that river road is safe, or do we all wait for spring like fools?
