Let it be recorded that the heart, though smaller than a fist, has ruined armies more efficiently than winter, yesterday I took my banner out of [ENVY] and rode alone again, expecting a banner to make loyalty feel solid; instead I found myself measuring every promise like a borrowed ribbon, and it cost me the comfort of pretending I had chosen well. I am seeking a banner worth trusting, though SKY has lately made every standard in the realm look a little less interesting.
